Language
- Start by making a new slide (Ctrl+M) and give it a title.
- If you are studying a country click here to find a list of languages that are spoken in your country. Only use the top languages. Some countries have dozens. If you are studying a state go down to direction # 9.
- Click on the language map for your country.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and right click on the map. Select "Copy."
- Go back to your PP and right click on the language slide and select "Paste."
- Resize the image and list the main language(s) spoken in your country.
- Go back to the page that lists the languages and list the main languages on your PP.
- Copy the address of the website and add it your bibliography.
- Click here for a map of 2nd languages in the United States. (This is operating under the assumption that 5th graders know that English is the main language in America)
- Right click on the map and select "copy."
- Go to you PP slide and right click on it and select "paste."
- Resize the map.
- Type the 2nd languages that are predominately found in your state.
- Copy the address of the website and add it your bibliography.
- Click "Save" and you are done.
